Brian Beach Wins the Golf Channel Am Tour

Golfers who turn out being champions are those who are serious players. And, Brian Beach is one of them. The 22-year-old winner of the Golf Channel Am Tour National Championship flight is indeed seriously working hard for the sport. He shot a final score of 74 finishing at 4-over-par 290. The event was held in Ocean Course at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in Florida.

Brian moved from Montana to Palm Desert in California to improve his golf skills furthermore. He graduated from the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, California. He looks forward for a career in the professional golf.

Scott Beach, Brian’s dad and caddie at the same time, helped to keep himself loose and focused. The son describes his dad as ‘phenomenal’. Starting slow on the first of the four-day tournament, Scott helped his son to keep his ship steady. Brian’s worst score happened on the final round which was a shot over the two 73s. He recalled, “I just grinded it out, par after par. My caddie (his dad) really kept me loose and kept my mind focused.”

Brian had won the Golf Channel Am Tour for the seventh time and he consider them as great preparation for his future golf career. Having played the four-round event for the first time, he says “I enjoyed every moment out here. It’s been a great learning experience.”
